Ron Killeen

Trivaris Ltd.—Vice President

Ron began his career at Computing Devices Canada, initially as a software and research engineer, developing advanced signal processing algorithms with Canada’s Defence research labs. Subsequently, Ron worked at Nortel Networks where he held several senior R&D management roles and was a director for a software infrastructure team that developed and supported design tools for Nortel’s 20,000 developers. Prior to joining Trivaris, Ron was a Managing Director at the Centre for Communications and Information Technology (CCIT) at the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).

Srinivasan Keshav

Chief Technology Officer, Bee Networx

S. Keshav brings to Bee Networx a wide range of academic and business experience. As CTO, he is the chief architect and visionary for Bee Networx, and is responsible for the strategic direction of our flagship product, LinkPro. Before joining Bee Networx, Keshav co-founded Ensim Corp., where he provided architectural guidance for all of Ensim’s products, building a world-class brand supported by 17 patents, of which he was an inventor or co-inventor of eleven. Ensim raised over $85 million in venture funding. S. Keshav is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Tetherless Computing at the School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo, Canada and the Editor of ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review.

Ray Nissan

Cybermation Inc—Founder

Ray has vast Information Technology experience, starting with his involvement in the first commercial installation of the IBM MVS operating system with the British Oxygen Company. He has also held systems programming and development positions with the CIBC and Datacrown.

In 1982 Ray founded Cybermation. His Advanced Workflow Engine formed the foundation of Cybermation’s unique, event-driven cross platform Enterprise Job Scheduling solution. In April 2006, Cybermation was acquired by CA in order to strengthen its leadership position in the Job Scheduling marketplace. Today, these workload automation solutions drive the data centers of many of the world’s Fortune 500 companies, including, UPS, Verizon, Nike, IMS Health, and Iron Mountain

Michael S. Slan

Fogler, Rubinoff LLP—Partner

Michael Slan is a partner in the Toronto law firm of Fogler, Rubinoff LLP. His practice consists of providing advice for closely held companies and for lenders.

For many years, Mr. Slan has acted extensively for a number of financial institutions and private equity funds in relation to mezzanine and equity financing. In addition, Mr. Slan is the secretary of Kingsway Financial Services Inc, an insurance company interlisted on both the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges. As such, Mr. Slan has significant experience in providing advice on corporate governance.

Andrey J. Szpynda

President and Chief Executive Officer, Bee Networx

Andrey provides overall business leadership, with a specific focus on strategy and business development. His vast telecom experience, especially at Rogers Wireless during its earliest development stages, has prepared him to quickly identify specific client needs and develop these into business development and partnership opportunities.

Andrey has managed organizations for global enterprises such as Saint Gobain in EU and Switzerland and ExxonMobil in Ukraine. His solid executive management and board-level experience, both in corporate and individual start-up environments, enables him to deliver real value to Bee Networx individual customers and partners. He extends the company’s global reach through his international experience and his network of international contacts.
